Monies donated to this area are used to purchase sports equipment such as baseball gloves, baseball bats, etc.; tickets to local events and shows.
Gift cards from Meijer, Inc., Target, Wal-Mart, McDonald's, Burger King, etc. are always appreciated by our Veterans, as are stationery and postage stamps (prefer Forever Stamps), new greeting cards, writing tablets, pens, envelopes, Word Search and Crossword puzzle books, new batteries of all sizes, paper back books, recent magazines (within last six months), telephone cards, sunglasses, change purses/wallets, disposable lighters; snacks such as individually wrapped small candy bars (soft), cookies, hips, pretzels, and crackers & cheese; fresh fruit such as oranges & bananas; Crystal Light powdered drink mix. (Please note that Infection Control Policies prohibit expired or nearly expired food items)
